F.C. Dadson is a manufacturing and program management company specializing in designing, constructing, fabricating, fulfilling and installing retail environments, kiosks and retail merchandising units. We are a small, family-owned company that started out building cabinets in a garage and are now a leading millwork manufacturer servicing all 50 states. We’re looking to hire real, honest people who have a passion for the millwork and casework industry.

This position is responsible for leading the account set-up and portfolio management process from start to finish. By being a single point of contact for each Corporate Account the Portfolio Manager will be able to shepherd the portfolio through its lifecycle while managing the corporate operational standards of each brand. The Portfolio Manager will work collaboratively with the Operations, Sales and Marketing, and Construction Management cross-functional teams to develop the most effective strategies for each potential account to ensure all customer deliverables are met within scope, on-time, and under budget.

Essential Functions

  • Customer service driven. Must work with a diverse client and customer base in the franchise and corporate markets.
  • Able to represent the most demanding and engaged clients in executing interior commercial renovations, usually in occupied buildings.
  • Excellent organizational, written and spoken communication skills, including exceptional prioritization and follow-up skills.
  • Able to effectively review and understand construction drawings.
  • Strong interpersonal skills, including ability to interact with executive-level external and internal clients.
  • Strive to be highly organized, detail-oriented and reliable professional who can work independently.
  • Track and report on project milestones and provide status reports. Provide shipping instructions including verification of site off load conditions where applicable
  • College degree in business or a related field or a combination of experience and education
  • A minimum of 3-5 years of work experience in project and/or marketing management. Familiarity with project management tools and/or software packages
  • Develop and monitor a project time line for each project
  • Coordinate contractors and subcontractors for new and ongoing commercial construction, tenant improvement and renovation projects.
  • Solid understanding of industry-standard construction, bid and payment documents.
  • Analyze bids and issue contract documentation; track contractor insurance certificates and monitor licensure status.
  • Ensure the on-time completion of construction, punch-list and close-out processes – on-time and on-budget – and assemble all warranty and legal closeout documentation for projects, ensuring all items are in order for final completion and payment.
  • Review, approve and validate pay applications, invoices, lien waivers and other construction and payment documentation; interface effectively with all FCD departments.
  • Up to 20% travel is required for this position.
  • Determines appropriate revenue recognitions, ensures timely and accurate invoicing, and monitors receivables for project.
  • Accurately forecasts revenue.

Working conditions

· May work in all weather conditions.

· May work around chemicals, biohazards, fumes and electrical or mechanical hazards.

· Will need to climb ladders and stairs of various heights.

· Most of the time will be spent in a standard office setting at a desk for long periods of time.

Salary: $65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year

Job description:

F.C. Dadson is a leading millwork manufacturer that specializes in designing, engineering, producing and installing retail environments, kiosks and other commercial cabinetry. We are looking to hire confident, self-driven individuals that work well in a team environment. F.C. Dadson is a small, family-owned company that values its people and the culture we’ve grown.

We are currently seeking both experienced and entry-level Installers to travel nationwide, installing our retail and commercial fixtures. Transportation ranges from driving company vehicles to airline travel.

Roles and Responsibilities

· Approximately 50% travel, typically 6 days or less per trip.

· Supervise/assist with delivery & unloading of product.

· Install cabinetry & fixtures to high quality standards.

· Work on new construction sites as well as remodel environments.

· Work alongside general contractors, electricians, plumbers, painters, etc.

· Make modifications/adjustments to our product in the field if necessary.

· Interact with clients, owners, store personnel & corporate representatives.

· Provide quality feedback & documentation after job completion.

· Work in our manufacturing facility in Greenville, WI when not traveling for Installation.

Qualifications and Requirements

· Valid driver’s license

· Cabinet manufacturing or similar experience

· Cabinet installation or finish carpentry experience preferred

· Good verbal & written communication skills

· Ability to work long hours, with physical demand

· Proactive problem solver with ability to work under stressful situations

· Adaptable Team player
